Sonny Terry - Whoopin' The Blues -Capital Records 78 RPM

A rare Piedmont NC Blues recording by Sonny Terry, who many consider to be one of the pioneers of Blues harmonica. Record has a crack but still plays through, at least enough to capture it on video/audio.. This is a 1940's Sears Silvertone Crank style Victrola record player. It's the model that courting couples would bring on their picnics. No electricity needed! I saw this same model in an episode of M*A*S*H* when Hawkeye was examining one of those Bombshell Nurses... More 78 classic records on video coming soon.. I have the Andrews Sisters, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Jordan, Woody Herman, Guy Lombardo, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, BB King, Artie Shaw, Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Al Jolson, Bing Crosby, Les Paul w/Mary Ford, Muddy Waters, Big Bill Broonzy, Lightnin' Hopkins and lots of old Swing Era records... Stay Tuned!

Queen – See what A Fool I’ve Been

Bonus track from "Queen II" album released in 1974. B-side of 'Seven Seas Of Rhye' single. Based on a song by Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee. It is not known whether the song is similar to the original or radically different. Some people claim it is almost a cover version, but as no-one seems to know precisely which song is covered it is hard to assess this information!

Well she's gone dear gone this morning
See what a fool I've been
Oh Lord what a fool I've been
Yes I did - too much
Didn't leave didn't leave no letter
Didn't leave no warning (you naughty thing you)
I guess I'm all to blame oh Lord
I guess I'm all to blame (see you later....right now you) - take it
My little dog ain't too hungry no no he just kept on barking viciously
Just don't seem the same oh no no
It just don't seem the same (oh see you later)
Now hit it - like that
Coming on strong
Well I got so lonely
Went and told my neighbour
She said mm mm mm mm mm
Oh Lord what a fool I've been
And she told me what to do
She said go home
Well she's gone gone this morning
See what a fool I've been oh Lord
What a fo-oo-oo-ool I've been
Thank you
